The plugin is distributed as a single DLL loaded automatically by Revit using an .addin manifest file. No separate heavy installer is required!

Installation Steps

Copy the Manifest

Place LubhataQCSuite.addin into %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2024\

Verify DLL Path

Open the .addin file and ensure the <Assembly> path points to your LubhataQCSuite.dll

Launch Revit

Start Revit. A new Lubhata QC tab will appear in the top ribbon.

Hardware Fingerprinting

Lubhata QC Suite uses hardware-bound session identifiers. On every login, a secure hash is generated from your CPU and Motherboard serial numbers to enforce single-machine session validity.

⚠️

Single Session Policy: If you log in on a new device, you will be prompted to force-logout any other active machine.

Windows DPAPI Protection

If you enable "Remember Me", your credentials are encrypted using the Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI). This binds the encryption key exclusively to your Windows profile—making it impossible for other users or machines to decrypt your session file.

Dashboard Metrics

The top of the Home Dashboard shows your aggregated System Health (average score across all active projects), Clashes Detected, and Hours Saved (ROI estimation based on clash prevention).

Creating a Project

Add Project

Click the + New Project button on the dashboard

Assign Name & Code

Give it a name. The system will auto-generate a short code if you don't provide one.

Get Secret Key

Open the new project and copy the Secret Key. Share this with engineers so they can sync plugin data.

3D Model Viewer & Compare
